Hoy estamos felices en Guatemala, porque se acerca un día tradicional muy esperado por muchos. Mañana no solo es feriado sino que comeremos delicioso. Casi no puedo esperar por que sea viernes!!!
Today we are very happy in Guatemala, because tomorrow is a traditional day eagerly awaited by many of us. Tomorrow is not only a day off but a day full with delicious food. I can´t hardly wait for Friday!
El martes pasado fui invitada al cóctel de inauguración de la nueva localidad de Saul E. Méndez. Cuando uno piensa en esta marca, piensa en variedad, ropa, comida, arte, buena música etc. y esta nueva tienda no es la excepción.
Last Tuesday I was invited to the opening cocktail of Saul E. Méndez new store. When I think about this brand, I think about variety, clothes, food, art, good music etc. and this new store isn´t the exception of that.
Fue una noche muy agradable, esta vez mi esposo me acompañaba y eso lo hacia aun mejor. El ambiente que Saúl E. Méndez proporciona en sus tiendas y restaurantes siempre es cómodo y con mucho arte. Esta nueva localidad reúne tanto un espacio de moda como para comensales, llamado Saúl Gastronomía.
It was a very pleasant evening, this time my husband was with me and that made it even better. The atmosphere that Saul E. Méndez provideds in its stores and restaurants is always comfy and artistic. This new location brings both, fashion as a space for diners, named Saul Gastronomy.
El cóctel contó con la agradable música del trió de jazz Imox. La Vinoteca se hizo presente dándonos degustación de vino Trío; y la degustación culinaria estuvo a cargo de Saúl Gastronomía, la combinación de estos tres no pudo estar mejor.
The cocktail had the nice music of jazz trio Imox. La Vinoteca was present giving us their Trio wine tasting, and the food was by Saul Gastronomy, the combination of these three couldn't be better.
Entre las fotografías que tomamos, verán aparte de ropa el arte que adorna esta tienda, esta es una de la características mas fuertes de esta marca el arte moderno que expone en sus tiendas y restaurantes. Esta nueva tienda fue diseñado de la mano de la arquitecta Ines Guzmán, la misma que remodelo Saúl Miraflores.
Among the photographs we took, you not only will see clothes but artwork that adorns this clothing store, this is one of the strongest features of this brand, modern art displayed in their stores and restaurants. This new store was designed by the hand of the architect Ines Guzman, who also redesigned Saúl Miraflores.
Tome varias fotografías de las lamparas, me parecieron modernas, sofisticadas y que agregaban un gran estilo a la tienda. Piegatto es el responsable de lanzar al mercado estas lamparas, y de esta intervención en este nuevo espacio de Saúl, con objetos de arte también. Cada dos meses se estarán rotando diferentes piezas de arte en la tienda para que los clientes puedan conocer mas de los que ofrece Piegatto.
I took several pictures of the lamps, I thought they were modern, sophisticated and added great style to the store. Piegatto is responsible to put these lamps to market, and the intervention in this new Saul space, and objects of art too. Every two months they will rotate different pieces of art in the store so all the customers can learn more about what Piegatto offers.
Al recorrer la tienda los clientes podrán encontrar toda la linea de ropa que caracteriza a la marca de Saúl E. Méndez. Con el frió a la puerta creo que una opción inteligente es comprar una de las bellas bufandas que ofrecen y que hacen a cualquier hombre resaltar.
By walking the store the customers can find all the clothing line that characterizes the Saul E. Méndez brand. With the cold at the door I think that a smart choice is to buy one of the beautiful scarves that they offer and that make any man stands out.
Y aquí yo, usando un clásico traje negro con una blusa de lentejuelas mate y unas sandalias altas. Quiero decir que mi experiencia no hubiese estado completa sin el transporte antiguo que me llevo al lugar. No todos los días usamos una antigüedad hermosa como lo era ese auto. And here I am, wearing a classic black suit with a sequined matte blouse and high sandals. I want to say that my experience wouldn´t have been complete without the transport that took me to the place. Not every day we use a beautiful antique as it was that car.
